© 2009 Pandora Jewelry | Pandora Jewelry Care Caring for your Pandora jewelry is easy with a few simple steps. Since you have created a unique piece of jewelry, you will want to keep it looking shiny. As with all fine jewelry, it is recommended that it should not be worn when doing housework or gardening.
For cleaning, simply use lukewarm soapy water - that is best. Use a soft toothbrush to scrub and then rinse in clean water. To remove caked-on dirt, soak for ten minutes in lukewarm soapy water, gently brush then rinse in clean water. For a shinier surface, you can consult an authorized retailer in your area to arrange for an in-store cleaning (not available at all retailers). Alternatively, you can polish your jewelry with a special polishing cloth which contains a cleaning solution, available at in our supplies category.
WARNING: DO NOT EXPOSE PANDORA JEWELRY TO CHEMICALS. Silver pieces are given detail by oxidation. Exposure to harsh chemicals can alter the appearance of your Pandora product. These chemicals include, but are not limited to, liquid silver polish and chemicals commonly found in pools, hot tubs and spas. Oxidized silver and pearls are easily damaged.
WARNING RUBBER - We have been informed by Pandora about a reaction of Pandora bracelets to rubber. In a recent newsletter to stores, Pandora states "We would like to remind you not to introduce your Pandora Jewelry to rubber. This includes, but is not limited to, storing it with rubber bands, rubber bracelets, or in a storage box made with rubber components. The exposure to rubber causes the jewelry to become discolored." |
