 RETIRED BEADS - In anticipation of the Spring release, Pandora will be retiring charms seen in our Retired category on March 1. Don’t miss your chance to purchase retired beads now while they are still available.
 NEW NUMBERING SYSTEM – Starting in March, Pandora will implement a new numbering system. A zero will added to the item number. As an example 79284 will be 790284 for the cat charm starting in March. Note the extra “0” between the 79 and 284. From what we can tell, it is a “0” added to all items. So when you’re looking for your favorite items in the future, keep in mind that there will be a “0” after the first two digits.
 PENDANTS & COTTON CORDS - Watch for new Pandora pendants and colorful cotton cords arriving in February. Pendants are being released using popular designs from several Mix and Match earrings that can be worn on a new Pandora silver chain or cord. Eight colors of cotton cords with sterling silver tips and three cords with 14 karat gold tips will be released with the pendants. With Pandora pendants, this is another way to personalize your Pandora jewelry collection. What a perfect set it will make with matching Mix & Match earrings.
 SPRING BEADS - New releases are due to arrive "late spring". There's a variety of silver beads, lots of dangle beads, color enamels, nine silver Murano glass, silver beads with diamonds and various other stones, leather bracelets with gold clasps, mix & match earrings and more. A silver Smiling Bead will be in this new release – it is the long awaited Buddha bead. Other charms include a chick in a shell, kangaroo, butterfly, graduation book with owl, butterfly, clip with stars, turtle, sun with smiling face, “evil eye” dangle, pearl dangle, #1 first prize with turquoise enamel, gold crown, dangle champagne glass, and lots more.
  
A fabulous array of Fall beads gives you lots of options for designing your Pandora creation. This new collection includes colorful stones, enamels, Cameo zodiacs, dangles, gold and much more. Sure favorites will be the panda, palm trees, best friends and peace symbol. New to the Pandora line are numbers 16, 18 and 21. Gold collectors won't want to miss the Open Heart beads with diamonds! Leather bracelets in a variety of colors are perfect for wearing just a few beads. Look for them in our Leather category.
  
Pandora has informed us that starting November 2009, the inner core of Murano glass beads will change. They will now have a dark oxidized threaded area instead of a shiny silver finish. There is no change to the look of the bead when worn on your bracelet or necklace and it is not considered a defect. This photo shows two pink beads using the new process with oxidation in the threaded area while the black bead shows a shiny inner core that will no longer be available. Denmark-Beads will continue to ship beads with the shiny inner core while supplies last. When we are out of the original versions, glass beads with an oxidized core will ship.

 Caring for Pandora Jewelry - To keep your Pandora jewelry clean, polish it with our specially treated cleaning cloth. Pandora's silver pieces are given detail by oxidation. To maintain oxidized detail on your Pandora jewelry, care must be taken while wearing and cleaning your Pandora pieces. Exposure to harsh chemicals can alter the appearance of your Pandora jewelry. Never expose your Pandora jewelry to chemicals such as, but not limited to, liquid silver polish, hot tubs, pools and spas.
Pandora Travel Box is a wonderful accessory for a Pandora bead collector. This jewelry box is perfect to use while on the road or to use at home. Made of suede like fabric in a rich shade of beige, it has two removable trays for holding beads and Match jewelry.
